Education for the Future

We do not own the earth...

...we only borrow it from our children

Growing nutritious food requires a better understanding of soil ecology. Educating our next generation and teaching them the value of good nutrition, begins with our schools' project: Sowing the Seed.

Developed for use in all Key Stages of the curriculum, this self-contained project explores key issues in plant nutrition.

Children learn for themselves how to grow nutritious food and discover the links between healthy soil, food and humans.

  Garden for
Research, Experiential Education and
Nutrition

Started as a partnership between the Good Gardeners Assocation, Biodynamic Association and Hiram Trust this garden is providing opportunities for nutritional research and education. With a unique blend of conventional and holistic science we are learning how best to grow and measure food for nutrition.
